This project explores the role and importance of new media, technologies, and scientific methods in art for the perception and awareness of natural spaces and ecosystems. This is done through the virtual capture and recording of ecosystems, with a particular focus on the use of digital technologies to capture and record aspects of the natural world. The aim of the work is to identify what artistic-technical possibilities there are to make such a recording and what possibilities can be derived from it. Furthermore, the artistic potential of technical programs in the digital recording of natural spaces is to be explored.
Here we are dealing with a digital artwork that captures the beauty and intricate details of plants through 3D scanning and rendering. By digitally preserving these plants, the artwork provides a unique and interactive way to view and learn about the plant kingdom. The digital herbarium is not only an aesthetic experience, but also a educational and philosophical one, as it encourages viewers to reflect on the relationship between humans and nature.

What is space and how can we experience it? This was the central question that we dealt with in the context of the project. The installation on this topic was implemented in the summer sacristy of Melk Abbey. Several VR headsets were available for this purpose, offering visitors insights into our work. The experimental exhibition made optimal use of the available space by finding its origin in the elements of the exhibition space.

I am fascinated by the relationship between spaces and nature and how they interact and influence each other. I believe that nature is a powerful force that can shape and change spaces. I am interested in exploring how this force can be harnessed and used to create meaningful and beautiful spaces.

The face as a stage, a bust as a canvas. Inanimate is brought to life and enters into interaction. Between observing and being observed. Between classic and modern. Between empathy or antipathy.
In the multimedia installation Von Angesicht zu Angesicht - ein ambivalentes Selbstbild , the possibilities of the self-portrait are experimented with. By linking two self-portraits - plastic imprint and moving image - an interplay between dialogue and trialogue is created. Bystanders inevitably become observers or unconsciously direct communication partners. The closeness to reality of the works is intended to evoke conflicting emotions. Between fascination and discomfort. Known and unknown at the same time - ambivalent.
